Eliot B. Hoffman, MD FACC
Eliot B. Hoffman, M.D. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Missouri in 1976. He received his Doctor of Medicine from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1981. He then trained in Houston, Texas where he completed his Internal Medicine residency, Cardiology Fellowship, and Interventional Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center and the Texas Heart Institute.
Dr. Hoffman is the only cardiologist in Lee County with five board certifications:
- Internal Medicine
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Nuclear Cardiology
- Interventional Cardiology
- Cardiac Pacing and Cardioversion Defibrillation
Dr. Hoffman is a proud member of the Lee County Medical Society, Florida Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Hoffman has also served as President of the Lee County Medical Society and on the Board of Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center.
He has been in private practice utilizing his interventional cardiology skills to treat arterial disease in Lee County since 1987, and established The Vein Center to lend his expertise in the treatment of often under diagnosed and untreated venous disease as well.
